Mental Illness Strikes Former Houston Rocket

It is sad when anyone has a mental illness. Mental illness can strike anyone. It does not discriminate between rich or poor,black or white, talented or no talent. If someone you know has these type of issues it is important to tell your defense lawyer as soon as possible. It would allow the attorney to properly defend the case, put him/her in the appropriate treatment, and communicate them at their own speed.
I have represented several clients with mental health issues. I understand that is imperative that the client is on the appropriate medication, and continue to see their mental health professional. I need to be able to speak with their mental health professional and learn much more about them then the typical client. I have always found that a family that is involved in the criminal process is always helpful.
It does not matter if the case is an assault, burglary,criminal mischief, Drug possession, DWI, theft, or any other crime the client's needs must be addressed.
