A father’s love for his sons is one of the strongest bonds in the world, but for one parent, this love turned criminal when he avenged his sons’ death by shooting the driver who killed both of them in a car accident back in December. According to the authorities, the accident happened on December 7th, 2012. The father with the initials D.B. along with four children and his wife were harmed when a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu crashed into the rear of their pickup truck. In the accident, D.B.’s sons were both killed. D.B. suffered a few non-life threatening injuries, but his 12-year-old son died at the scene. His 11-year-old son was airlifted to a local hospital where he died. The driver of the car that had started the accident was a man with the initials J.B.
He was intoxicated at the time of the crash and when tested he had a BAC of .175. The angry father pulled out a gun and shot the driver in the head after discovering that his 12-year-old son was dead. Several witnesses say that they saw the crash occur, and then watched as D.B. walked away from the crash and back to his home. He returned shortly after with a gun in his hand, and fired shots until J.B. fell to the ground. Investigators say that they did not recover any weapons at the scene of the accident. Still, the evidence from the witnesses may be enough to prove that D.B. is guilty of his alleged crime. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators entered D.B’s home and found a gun holster and ammunition. No gun was found. The father was arrested for the murder of J.B. and his bond has been set at $450,000. If you have been arrested for murder, chances are that you are terrified about what may lie ahead.
