Rapist Preys on Women Near Airport; Still On the Loose

A suspect who has been linked with at least two sexual assaults has been gathering his victims hear the Hobby Airport in Houston. The first case that was connected with this suspect occurred in December when two women accepted a ride from a man near the airport. The women got into the seemingly kind man’s Ford Mustang and one of them was dropped off at her stop near the airport. The other woman asked if she could be taken to another location nearby, and the suspect acquiesced. Yet instead of taking her to her destination, the man drove her to an abandoned building and raped her while choking her. The victim survived the horrific incident but she was not able to locate her offender and he was not arrested.
Only two months later, another individual was walking along the boulevard when the suspect came up and asked her to accompany him to a nearby hotel. She agreed to get into his car, but he took her to an abandoned warehouse where he choked her, struck her, and sexually assaulted the woman. She eventually escaped to a nearby convenience store and called the police. Police are on the lookout for this offender and currently believe that he is still searching for victims in the area. Whenever the police are doing a search like this one for a wanted individual, things can often get complicated.
Sometimes, the police may arrest look-alike suspects who are perfectly innocent, but put them on trial because of a physical resemblance.
